About Us

LAT works across London managing and delivering partnership projects that make a real difference. The breadth of our experience makes us experts in delivery, fundraising and partnership working.

Since 1994 we have partnered statutory, voluntary and private sector organisations to deliver projects funded by the Single Regeneration Budget, Neighbourhood Renewal Fund, London Probation Learning and Skills Councils, London Development Agency and Job Centre Plus. Read more about our partnership working.

Our development team successfully raises millions of pounds to deliver our projects as well as raising funds on behalf of lead partners and external organisations. Read more about our fundraising work.

Over the years we have developed and delivered innovative projects that fill the gaps in general provision. The principles of these projects have been taken up by many subsequent projects across the UK. Our NewLIFE project was one of the first to try and forge a link between ex-offenders and employers through job brokerage.

Dyspel tackled the link between dyslexia and offending and our Black Self Development Project is the only project in the UK to use cognitive and behavioural group work to tackle the underlying motivations of offending behaviour by BAME individuals.

The longevity of these projects and the ideas behind them, is testament to their relevance and adaptability as government policies and funding priorities have changed over time. It is also testament to the fact that they have made a real difference to real people.
