Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) allows organisations to accurately determine whether they are progressing towards, or achieving their goals and objectives. 

M&E is essential because it helps groups to:

• Be accountable to funders and stakeholders
• Promote continuous improvement
• Identify issues early on before they become problems
• Respond to change in their user group
