Our Work: Secure Unit Progression

LAT provides training to secure patients at Bethlem Royal Hospital, part of the South London and Maudsley Trust. Patients at the hospital who have been sectioned by the Home Office or Prison Service participate in 10-12 week courses covering Poetry and Rap, ICT or Life Skills. The Life Skills courses cover Healthy Living, Drug Awareness and Alcohol Awareness. All the courses are accredited by the Open College Network. LAT is also running a Homework Club for patients to motivate their on-going learning.
