Project Manager (Dyspel)

Salary: Point 37, £32,112pa (Including ILW)

Coming in at the head of this unique project, you’ll consolidate our good work so far and find new ways to take
us forward. You’ll develop effective practice standards, while networking to raise awareness of our work within
the wider community. Staff development will be key, as you’ll provide training and support to Project Tutors and
external staff alike. You’ll still find time to tutor a reduced caseload of young people who are at risk of
offending.

With two years’ experience of teaching those with dyslexia support needs, and a background of working with
offenders or socially excluded groups, it won’t take you long to make an impact. You must have a dyslexia
teaching qualification and the ability to both create and deliver relevant training sessions. What’s more,
you’re an experienced manager of both projects and people, with the communication skills needed to
liaise with a wide range of partner agencies.
